The board of PMI Nova Scotia would like to congratulate our 2017 scholarship winner, Kathryn Pumphrey.
Kathryn is a Cole Harbour native and a 3rd year Industrial Engineering student at Saint Mary's currently studying abroad in South Korea at the University of Seoul. Kathryn found her passion for leadership and project management through school projects but has taken it to bigger platforms and now belongs to the Engineering Society Executive, multiple peer mentorship programs, and project manager of a few design competitions. In her spare time, Kathryn likes learning about languages, cultures, and history which has lead her to study abroad to learn about the cultures first hand. Kathryn hopes that when she graduates she will be able to find a job that allows her to combine her interests and passions.
The PMI Nova Scotia Scholarship is awarded annually in the fall of the year by the PMI Education Foundation. The application deadline for 2018 is May 1 and more information on eligibility or the application process can be found here.
