Robin England, MA, PMP is a Senior Project Manager and Process Improvement Lead with over 15 years’ experience in Health Care, Finance, and IT in public and private industries. She specializes in Organizational & Strategic Change Management, Performance Improvement, Lean Methodologies, and PMO development including PMI methodologies, standards, and tools. Additional areas of expertise in business performance, cross-sector and complex technology/software implementation, quality and risk/enterprise risk management, business continuity and strategic planning. Robin has held positions of Director of Communications & Marketing, VP of Operations, and VP Programs with PMI Nova Scotia and is President for the 2019/2020 term.

Vanessa Greer has been an active volunteer with PMI-NS since 2015. Vanessa is an Honors Graduate of the Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts Programs of the Culinary Institute of Canada. In her culinary career, Vanessa worked at The Confederation Center of the Arts in Charlottetown, St. Charles Golf & Country Club in Winnipeg, CN Tower and La Rocca Creative Cakes in Toronto. While working as an Office Manager for Rose Reisman & By Davids’ Catering in Toronto, Vanessa decided to transition from a culinary career to a business career. She currently works in Human Resource Capital Management with ADP.

Chris is a Manager at a financial service company working on reconciliation tool software and machine learning projects After attending Saint Mary's University to study his Bachelor of Commerce, Chris' studies naturally lead him to the financial service industry which he has been working in since graduation. After moving to a project team after only eight months in operations, he quickly realized project management came naturally to him and he loved the gratification of completing a project. Most projects he is involved with are relating to enterprise accounting tools, BPM solutions, vendor products for technology solutions, and machine learning. The projects work with senior management globally and typically have durations of one month to a year. Chris enrolled in the PMI NS prep course in January 2015 and passed the Exam in June 2015. He has been a Course Facilitator in the PMINS PMP Exam Prep Course each session since Fall 2015. Chris actively looks to promote PMI with his colleague and at Chapter networking events. Chris joined the Board in January 2017 as the Director of Professional Development, responsible for the PMP, CAPM, and PMI-ACP Exam Prep Courses and the Mentorship Program. In Summer 2017, Chris earned the PMI-ACP certification.
Derek is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). He is currently employed at Englobe as Mechanical & Electrical Lead, NS working the consulting engineering field. He has lead teams of over 100 engineering professionals in a variety of different industries. Prior to joining Englobe, Derek has been employed as an engineering manager and program/project manager in a variety of industries including: marine engineering, physical security infrastructure, oil & gas and buildings, infrastructure and energy. Derek has volunteered with PMI-NS since 2008 holding numerous different roles including, Events Commitment Member, PMP Study Group Facilitator, Director of Professional Development, Vice President-Service Delivery, Treasurer and President.

Dylan is Principal Consultant at Halifax based Transom Consulting. He has previously served in roles as GM and Director, Professional Services. Obtaining his PMP in 2009, he has worked in the Technology industry for over two decades and has a Math and Computer Science degree from St. Francis Xavier University and is an MBA candidate at Saint Mary’s University. Dylan has been a volunteer with the chapter since 2009. He has held several board positions including VP and President. He is currently serving the chapter in the advisory role of Immediate Past President and is active with PMI in global volunteer roles.

Denise has been employed with the Government of Nova Scotia for over 24 years. She is currently the Project Executive of Primary Health Care with the Department of Health and Wellness. Previously, Denise was the Director of Income Assistance and before that the Manager of the Disability Support program. Denise is a Project Management Professional with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Masters of Public Administration. Denise has been a registered social worker for 22 years. Denise has served as Vice President of the Nova Scotia Association of Social Workers and was on the Board of the College of Respiratory Therapists.

Professionally, Donna is the Director, Standards and Examinations at the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency. She also is a Sessional Instructor for St. Francis Xavier University for the School of Education. Donna’s previous experience includes being an Education Officer at the Agency, Provincial Mathematics Coordinator for the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, as well as various teaching positions at the secondary level. Donna is a Project Management Professional with a Master degrees in Education (Administration) and Public Administration. Donna has served on the Board of NCSM and has has served as the Chair or Co-Chair of the Coaching Committee.

Kostia Zaharov is a Senior Consultant with The Barrington Consulting Group Inc, based in Halifax. Kostia is a Project Manager with over 7 years’ experience in executing large scale technology-intensive projects in telecommunication, IT and construction industries for commercial, governmental, and military customers. Prior to joining Barrington Consulting, Kostia was employed as a Project Manager at Nautel ltd. where he managed international multi-million dollar project of design, delivery, installation, and commissioning of 2 Megawatt AM radio transmitter. Kostia is a Professional Engineer accredited by Engineers Nova Scotia (former APENS) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with proven leadership, problem-solving, delivery, and communication skills.

Sandy MacMillan is a certified Project Management Professional and independent consultant with over twenty years IT experience in Enterprise Systems specializing in manufacturing, sales, and logistics, to meet requirements of customers including Walmart, Costco, Sobeys, and Loblaws. His experience includes directing web and mobile development activities for sales force automation. He served as IT Lead on a cross functional/ cross border team selecting and coordinated the successful implementation of an Enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management system. Sandy has volunteered with PMI events planning committee for the past several years and recently joined the Board as Interim Director at large.

Selicia Douglas is a Projects & Governance Coordinator at Citco Canada Inc. Her previous tenures included Process Lead/Quality Auditor at Capgemini Consulting Ca.Inc and Project Coordinator at Dalhousie University. In May 2013, Selicia became involved with the Nova Scotia Chapter volunteering with the committees responsible for Sponsorship, Marketing & Communications and the Mentorship Program. In 2014 she was elected to serve as Director of Membership & Volunteers; and in 2016, embarked on a new role as Director of Policy and Governance. In her current role, she leads the chapter's efforts in defining and guiding appropriate relationships and processes for its members and external partners.

He has over ten years of experience in providing advisory services to clients in such sectors as Human Resources, Government, Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom and Consumer Products. Sromon is focused on generating tangible benefits and sustainable solutions for his clients by applying strong functional expertise in project management, lean six sigma and change management. He holds an MBA degree and the following certifications: CAPM from the Project Management Institute; Six Sigma Green Belt from the American Society for Quality, and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org

Tammy MacDonald is a Sr. Project Manager with Staples Customer Service in HRM, though the projects she leads span across Canada and the US. She obtained her CAPM in 2013, followed by her PMP in 2016. As a Certified Scrum Master, Tammy also regularly applies Agile methodology to her professional projects. She has been an active member and volunteer with PMI Nova Scotia since 2013, beginning by participating in the launch of the Chapter's first annual Mentorship program. She is excited to continue volunteering her efforts to further support the Chapter and its continued growth in 2019 in a new role.

Uzo Nnamdi PMP, CBAP is a project management professional with over 15 years’ experience in Energy, Information Systems and Utilities sectors leading multi-cultural matrix teams and co-ordinating diverse stakeholder groups to achieve regulatory compliance, cost-effective service delivery and other project objectives. As a lifelong learner with an avid passion to give back to her community, Uzo began her PMI volunteer journey serving as the Study Co-ordinator for the Winter 2017 Study Group. As Director, Professional Development, she leads the chapter’s efforts to enhance members’ professional development through the provision of mentoring programs and facilitated study groups to promote certification.
