Get ready for another exciting PMI NS in-person event!

PMI NS Great NS Pick Me Up Litter is an eyesore, poses health risks, affects water quality, and is often mistaken as food by wildlife. Studies also show that litter begets litter, meaning people tend to litter in areas where there is already garbage on the ground. Let's get together to help keep our province beautiful and healthy.

This event directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goal:

14 - Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

Target - 14.1 -By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution

Dress Code

Wear clothing appropriate for the weather that day. Gloves will be provided.

Gloves, garbage and recycling bags

Members and non-members: free

Agenda

11:00am - meet at the first parking lot closest to the road to collect garbage and recycling bags

12:00pm - meet back at the first parking lot to drop off bags
