Have you ever wondered whether something belongs in the garbage or in the recycling? During the “What Goes Where” session, a Waste Resource Education Officer will be talking about how to sort waste in Halifax Regional Municipality’s five-stream waste management system. Now is the time to ask your burning recycling questions and become a waste-sorting expert yourself.
Meagan Wadden has been a Waste Resource Education Officer with Halifax Solid Waste Resources for just over a year now. Prior to this role, she was an Intern with Halifax Solid Waste. Meagan has a background in social justice, community studies, and environmental policy. She is an environmentalist and enjoys teaching others how to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
