Join PMI Nova Scotia and Scotian Shores for an unforgettable day of coastal care and community connection! We're heading to McNabs Island to help clean up one of Halifax’s most beautiful and historic natural areas. You’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride, meaningful environmental impact, and the chance to explore a beach filled with sea glass treasures—all while making new connections with like-minded changemakers.
Event Highlights
♻️ Island Clean-Up Mission: Tackle marine litter along trails and shoreline with support from Scotian Shores.
🌊 Beach with Sea Glass: Discover hidden treasures as we clean one of Nova Scotia’s unique sea glass beaches.
🚤 Ferry Adventure: Lifejackets provided for a safe and scenic ride to and from the island.
🧤 All Supplies Included: Gloves, garbage bags, and pickers will be provided—just bring your enthusiasm!

🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Meeting Location: Fisherman’s Cove Boat Launch, 109 Patricia Rd, Eastern Passage, NS B3G 1J7 (Free Parking Available at McCormick's Beach). You will see signs for Scotia Shores as you approach the end of the pier. See map for detailed directions.
💵 Cost: $20.00 to cover the boat

What to Bring
🎒 Dress for the weather (layers recommended)
🌞 Sunscreen and bug spray
🥪 Lunch, snacks, and refillable water bottle
🧰 Tick kit and any personal hiking essentials
🦺 Lifejacket (optional—will be provided if you don't bring one)
