🚀 PMI NS In-Person Session: From Doing Agile to Being Agile – Shifting from Project Management to Product Thinking
Agile adoption is widespread, but results vary. Many organizations follow the ceremonies and terminology of Agile—yet still operate with a traditional project mindset, limiting the benefits of frameworks like Scrum.
Join PMI Nova Scotia for an in-person session led by Andrew Mitchell, where we’ll explore what it really means to move from “doing Agile” to truly “being Agile.” This session focuses on the mindset shift from project thinking (plan-driven delivery) to product thinking (continuous value delivery)—and how that shift changes planning, measurement, and leadership.
You’ll learn why modern delivery teams increasingly rely on flow-based measures—such as cycle time, throughput, and work-in-progress (WIP)—to reduce uncertainty and improve outcomes, and what leadership looks like when the goal is to enable empowered teams and sustainable delivery.
This session is offered as bonus content following our 2025 conference, for members who wanted the opportunity to attend Andrew’s talk live.
