🧠 PMI NS Virtual Lunch & Learn: From People-Pleasing to Project Leadership
Many project professionals say “yes” out of habit—often to protect relationships—only to face scope creep, delivery risk, and burnout later. This virtual Lunch & Learn reframes boundary-setting as a leadership skill rather than resistance. Participants will explore why people-pleasing shows up in project environments, how unclear expectations quietly derail delivery, and how to communicate limits professionally without damaging trust.
Through real project scenarios and practical language patterns, attendees will leave with tools they can apply immediately in stakeholder conversations—whether pushing back on scope, escalating risks, or negotiating priorities while maintaining credibility and relationships.
🎯 Event Highlights
🧭 Reframe boundaries as leadership: Learn how assertive communication protects delivery outcomes, team capacity, and credibility.
📌 Set expectations early: Reduce scope creep, unmanaged risk, and last-minute pressure that can contribute to project failure.
💬 Professional, non-defensive language: Practical phrasing to push back, escalate concerns, and negotiate priorities while maintaining trust in high-stakes conversations.
