PMINS Virtual New Member Orientation: Getting the Most from Your Chapter Membership

Power Skills

We are pleased to invite you to the re-launch of the PMI Nova Scotia Membership Orientation, an important session we are intentionally bringing back in 2026.

This orientation is more than a welcome session.
It is a re-introduction, a reconnection, and a value-focused reset designed to help you get the most out of your PMI Nova Scotia membership.

Over the past several quarters, many members have joined, renewed, or remained active without having the opportunity to fully explore the breadth of benefits available through PMI Nova Scotia. This includes professional development opportunities, PDUs, volunteering and leadership pathways, and meaningful connection within the local project management community.

We are changing that.

Why you should attend

This session will help you:

  • Clearly understand how to maximize the value of your PMI membership at the local chapter level
  • Learn about upcoming events, learning opportunities, and professional development activities
  • Explore volunteering and leadership opportunities that support skill building, visibility, and career growth
  • Connect with fellow members and the PMI Nova Scotia leadership team
  • Ask questions, gain clarity, and identify where and how you can engage meaningfully

Whether you are a new member, a returning member, or someone who wants to become more actively involved, this session is designed for you.

We are re-establishing this orientation as a quarterly engagement session, and this first session sets the foundation for a strong and connected year ahead. If you have ever wondered whether you are fully leveraging your PMI Nova Scotia membership, this one hour session will provide clarity and direction.

We encourage you to attend, participate, and reconnect with your professional community.
