🏳️‍🌈 PMI NS Community Event: Halifax Pride Parade 2026 Participation

Join PMI Nova Scotia as we take part in the Halifax Pride Parade 2026—one of the region’s most vibrant and widely attended community events.

This in-person experience brings together thousands of participants and spectators in a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and community spirit. PMI NS will participate as a walking group, offering members and volunteers the opportunity to represent the Chapter while supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Participants will gather at a designated staging area and walk together along the official parade route through downtown Halifax. This event provides a unique opportunity to engage with the community, build connections, and demonstrate inclusive leadership in action.

10:30 AM – Participant Gathering & Check-In, T-shirt distribution
11:00 AM – Group Coordination & Preparation
12:00 PM – Parade Begins
1:30 PM – Parade Concludes / Wrap-Up

📌 Important Notes

Participants should plan to arrive early, as parade marshalling typically begins well before the official start time.

Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions and bring sunscreen, especially in warm weather.

Final staging location and logistics will be shared with registered participants closer to the event date.

Photography and Filming Policy

Photographs, audio, and video are sometimes captured during PMINS events. By registering, attendees hereby grant permission to photograph and record them at events, and distribute (both now and in the future) the attendee’s image or voice in photographs, social media, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
