Location: Barrington Tower, 17th Floor Conference Room, 1894 Barrington Street (Scotia Square), Halifax, Nova Scotia – Tower entrance by Coles Books or Blue Cross The 2019 season marked the 101st anniversary of the Memorial Cup. Last hosted in 2000, Halifax waited for almost 20 years to see the Memorial Cup return. From May 16th to 26th, 2019, in celebration of the Halifax Mooseheads' 25th anniversary, sell-out crowds of more than 10,000 fans per game, 500+ volunteers, and the City of Halifax played host to the Canadian Hockey League's elite. This was obviously a significant undertaking and required detailed planning to ensure a successful event. Grant MacDonald is pleased to share the experience and lessons learned with the PMI – Nova Scotia Chapter and our guests. He is currently working on a new project for the 2020 Women’s World Hockey Championship and is pleased to share details about this project as well.
