PMI Nova Scotia Mentorship Program

PMI Nova Scotia's Mentorship Program connects Protégés and Project Managers with local experience.

The PMI NS Mentorship Program is designed to enhance the professional experience and development of the participants through experience sharing, with emphasis on skills, tools and techniques needed to become more effective in project delivery and leadership. 

Participation is voluntary and without financial compensation. 

The main objective is to match experienced project managers with individuals who are new to the project management field or individuals interested in furthering their knowledge in the field of project management.

Available areas of interest include PMO, Business Analysis, Project and Program delivery in any industry.

Throughout the mentoring process, seasoned mentors assist their protégés establish goals and develop the capability to reach their goals.

Call for Mentors

PMI Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the launch of Cohort #2 of our Mentorship Program – an initiative designed to strengthen the project management community across Nova Scotia through guided learning, professional growth, and meaningful connection.

We are now accepting applications for both Mentors and Protégés.

  • Military veterans transitioning into project management – your leadership, discipline, and mission‑focused mindset are invaluable. We strongly encourage veterans to apply as either mentors or protégés.

  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2026
  • Program Start: September 2026
  • Program Duration: 3 months
